Our services
Pipeline and mechanical services
Green Frog Utilities is approved and accredited to undertake the full range of mechanical works associated with pipeline construction operating at pressures greater than 7bar. Acting a principal contractor, we have delivered a number of complex high-pressure pipeline connections and diversions, fully controlled by our in-house engineers and operatives whilst ensuring the very best levels of quality assurance and customer satisfaction are maintained. We are able to provide individual services or a full wrap solution covering:
- Project management (>7bar construction)
- Welding and non-destructive testing (NDT)
- Materials procurement and traceability
- Hydrostatic testing
- Corrosion protection
- Commissioning and decommissioning
Welding services
Green Frog Utilities is able to provide a range of welding services for onshore steel pipelines to T/SP/P1, T/SP/P2 and T/SP/P9 as well as other specifications as required.
AGI design and build service
Along with pipeline construction, Green Frog Utilities provide a full range of design and build services for AGI’s across all pressure tiers. Several of our senior engineers are former time served staff members with gas distribution networks – and have worked on some of the largest capacity and most complex AGIs in the UK. With expertise in O&M, pressure management, construction and inspection, we are able to bring genuine added value to any AGI refurbishment or build project. Our services include:
- Wholesale replacement
- Filter replacements
- Volumetric and pressure control upgrades
- Water-bath heater replacements
- Boiler package upgrades
- Valve refurbishment and replacement
- Pipework alterations, new connections, and disconnections

Civil works
Our in-house construction operatives are able to provide a wide range of civil engineering solutions including:
- Site establishment and set-up
- Construction of concrete bases, soakaway pits and drainage, roads and footpaths
- E&I civil works
- Trial holes
- PE and steel pipework trenching
- Hot-tap excavations (in accordance with P9 specifications)
- Demolition and disposal of demolished materials
